LIV.FAST Network (formerly MerseyBois) stands for Liverpool FTM Awareness and Support, Trans* Network.
We are an FTM (Female-to-Male) support group based in the Merseyside area. This group is open to all those who identify somewhere within the FTM spectrum including those who are Gender Queer, Non-Binary or Questioning.
We hold our meetings in Liverpool on the first and third Wednesday of the month between 6:30pm - 9:00pm. We have one for social activities and one for support.
The first meeting of the month is a social and will be held in various Liverpool venues such as The Brink. Some examples of of previous socials include meals out, ice skating, miniature golf and comedy nights. All social activities vary and are decided on by our members.
The second meeting is support focused and is held in the Armistead. At support meetings there will be discussions, workshops and presentations from health care professionals, local service providers and members of LIV.FAST Network. Some examples of previous support meetings include hormone and surgery presentations, non-binary identity workshops and sexual health workshops.
We also hold regular socials where we invite our SOFFAs (significant others, friends, family and allies) along. At these meetings we aim to educate and raise awareness of trans* issues and offer our support to those who want or need it.
