Families Together London is a London-based support group for the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. Some parents, families and friends may not find it easy that a child, family member or friend is LGBT, and may find it hard to support them. We hold two meetings every month in London - one in Battersea and one in King's Cross. Meetings are confidential, and offer a friendly and relaxed place in which to talk.
Who are we?
Families Together London provides a listening ear for parents and other family members of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.
Learning to accept that your child is LGBT may not be easy. Meeting other parents who have faced similar challenges will help you move forward.
You can get help over the phone, meet one-to-one, or come to one of our twice monthly meetings where you can talk with other parents and families who have had similar experiences.
What happens at our meetings?
Our meetings are held in confidence, which allows us to talk freely about our thoughts and feelings. We have a library of books and resources, which you are welcome to borrow.
Meetings take place in Battersea on Saturday afternoons and King's Cross on Wednesday evenings. At our Battersea meetings, we provide a delicious light lunch.
The dates of our upcoming meetings are on the website. For more details, please contact us.
